Description
This loop trail consists of a gravel, grass, and dirt footpath. There are two distinct sections of the trail. The first two miles are easy, the last mile is intermediate. The first 1.25 miles hike through open prairie and crosses a small creek overlooking a marshy floodplain. The trail then follows a bluff above the massive Wabash River.
About 1.25 miles in, the trail becomes more wooded while following the Tippecanoe River, but remains mostly flat. There are a couple more creek crossings. Around 2 miles in, the trail becomes much more wooded and hilly.
The remainder of the trail runs along a hillside with a few small inclines, a few staircases, and a couple creek crossings. The trail ends by the fishing pond.
