The Swamp Walk trail is marked where applicable by yellow blazes. However it is easy to follow as primarily travels along a scenic boardwalk through the swamp. Along the boardwalk there's one stopping point with benches. On the west end the trail ends at Wister Point Trail just past the end of the boardwalk. On the east side the trail travels a couple hundred feet past the second short boardwalk and ends at Dog Cove Shore Trail with the option to branch off to East Swamp Trail or Middle Fire Road trail beforehand.
