Need to Know
Be prepared to meet horses on the trail and make sure pets are leashed at all times. Good bug repellant is strongly recommended.
Runner Notes
Great trail for running, be aware of some sections of rock that might trip you up.
Description
This trail follows the yellow arrows over a 3.2 mile loop. You'll start your journey in the gravel parking lot heading towards the woods. There are some rocky bits that can trip you up if you aren't paying attention, but nothing at all difficult.
At mile 0.37 the loop begins; it is recommended to turn right and follow it counter-clockwise. This is where the
Yellow Loop and
Purple Loop diverge. At mile 1.75 the trail will reconnect with the
Purple Loop and you can easily extend your run by turning right. If you want to stay on the
Yellow Loop turn left.
At mile 1.9 you'll again have the option of joining the purple route. To stay on the
Yellow Loop turn left and continue following markings. At mile 2.38 continue straight on the yellow route. Turning right will take you to a neighborhood access point. At mile 2.67 you have completed the loop, turn right to return to the parking lot.
