Bring water. Wear sturdy and comfortable shoes. If sunny, bring a hat or sunscreen. Shut and latch any cow gates once through to ensure cattle stay inside premises.
Description
This 2.4-mile trail follows along the western side of Cedar Point Biological Station. You'll travel beside several canyons before you end up out in a flat open prairie for the second half of the run. You'll end the trail by climbing one last small hill to sight see the home to many prairie dog colonies.

Flora: Spiderwort, Yucca, Barrel Cactus, Downy Brome, Smooth Brome, Prickly Pear Cactus, Eastern redcedar
Fauna: Prairie Rabbits, Barn Owls, Morning glory, American Goldfinch, Cedar Waxwing, Redtail Hawk
