Description
Running in the wilderness is a big part of the Main Eagle Trail. Scenic views of valleys, rock slides, peaks, and glaciers along the way make this a great addition to any trip. However, if you just want a short run to a beautiful waterfall, cross the log bridge and keep running to see Copper Falls just 2.0 miles in.
This trail links to hundreds of other miles of wilderness trails via connections to trails #1931, #1921, #1937, #1914, #1934, and finally #1673.
Lakes most easily accessed from this trail are Looking Glass, Culver, Bear, Eagle, Cached, Arrow, and Heart Lake.
