This trail branches off the Patapsco Thru Trail Pickall Section just south of the Route 40 overpass, heading southeast along the highway. The path soon splits from Route 40 into the forest, beginning a steeper climb of the ridge. There are several sections of trail that are often wet/saturated as it crosses several small drainage beds in this area. The trail levels out into a slight incline as it follows several cutbacks and eventually connects to the Thru Trail Connector and eventually back to Patapsco Thru Trail Pickall Section.
