Be careful on the boardwalk, as it can be VERY slick.

From the Camp Ridge or Tammany Trace, cross the road and link into Old Forest. This trail is clearly cut through the woods, and is marked with red trail markers at each intersection. This trail is the northernmost trail, so all trails splitting from it will start to bring you out to the main road, and eventually back to the pavilion/parking area.

The loop in the northeast corner is a boardwalk.
