Need to Know

Construction due to start on the pedestrian crossing of the 406 highway on June 4, 2018. Geneva Street bridge is an alternate route.

Path is suitable for trail running, fairly well groomed throughout.

Description

From the Bruce Trail, follow the blue blazes; optionally, you can park on Old Glendale Road, in the parking lot there.

The trail continues following the creek for about 6.5km, going under some overpasses, and changing from singletrack to groomed wide trail.

Keep an eye out for deer along this section, they are frequently drinking from the creek in this area.

After crossing the creek on the bridge, the trail will lead you beside the 406 highway, there are two ways over the highway, either the pedestrian bridge, or the Geneva street bridge.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers, variety of trees. Deer, rabbit, squirrels, various aquatic amphibians and fish.
