Runner Notes

The trail crosses several roads and passes under others. You may have to pause your run for traffic, but the crosswalks are very well marked, and the roads you'll cross are lower traffic than most in the immediate area.

Description

This is a multi-use (walk, run, bike, but no skateboarding) paved path through downtown Fayetteville. It connects between the Main Library and Festival Park at one end and the dog park at the other. This trail will eventually connect to the Cape Fear River Trail once that trail is extended to Arnette Park.

Flora & Fauna

There are ducks in the creek and plenty of songbirds and squirrels.
