This short trail begins at the Lake Shore Trail in the open meadow alongside the lake. This part of the trail has nice views of the lake. The trail then heads into the forest alongside the lake and works its way between the equestrian campsites, Lake Shore Trail, and the Cedar Creek campsites.
You'll cross the traffic circle so be mindful of traffic. The trail next continues west, passes a service road, and ends at the northeast corner of Cedar Creek Loop Trail near a reclaimed oil pump. This trail is mostly useful for creating a larger loop with the Lake Shore Trail and Cedar Creek Loop Trail or to access either from the campsites.
