“A tough climb to one of the highest peaks in the La Sal Mountains, but well worth the view!”— Victor Mariano
The Manns Peak Trail follows the ridgeline up to the summit. The trail is easy to follow until you get above tree line, and then you'll have to follow the cairns and there are some rock steps that have been built in the scree field. Once you get to the summit, you'll see amazing 360-degree views with Colorado mountains to the east and the desert of Canyonlands National Park to the west.
From the summit, you can go back down to the start or make a loop, by going west along the edge of the ridge to Jackass Pass and Dry Fork / Beaver Basin Trail. This will take you back to the Burro Pass Trail #315.
