Description

Parking for this trail can be found at the Sandifur Memorial Bridge parking area on Clarke Ave. off of Riverside Ave. (just north of Latah Creek).

Start onto this trail by turning off of Riverside Ave. and heading towards the Spokane River. There will be a couple turn offs on the trail that will lead you back to Government Way, so stay right and you'll be fine.

The first part of the trail is fairly loose and has some steep sections until you get past the cemetery. Most of the trail past the cemetery is rocky, with tight turns and winding, rolling singletrack.

Use caution as some sections that have sun exposure have loose dirt and can become washed out. Once you get to the old truss bridge you'll be on doubletrack. Continue to head north along the river to get to Tj Menoch and Riverside State Park beyond.
