Need to Know

Due to conditions placed on the sale of the property by the Peters family, no bicycles or horses are allowed on the trail. In addition, use of electronics (cell phones, music players, etc.) on the trail is not allowed.

Description

Part of the Gazzam Lake Nature Preserve trail system, the Peters Trail is a short and slightly technical trail that is best used as either an out-and-back or as a connector between the Gazzam Main Trail, where the Peters Trail begins at the western terminus, or the very short Schel Chelb Trail near the eastern terminus. The latter will give you some water views with an occasional passing ferry.

The trail is best accessed from the western side as there is a small parking lot on Deerpath Lane.
