Runner Notes

This is a great option if you like a rooty challenge, just watch your footwork.

Description

This tightly twisting one-mile loop explores two of the area's "kettle" glacial depressions with plenty of rough and challenging sections. In addition to the shaded depressions, runners will explore a peaceful shaded forest as they navigate narrow singletrack, hair-pin corners, and steep grades. Taken clockwise (as mapped) will put most of the elevation change into climbing, which many runners will find preferential due to the rooty tread.
