“This is a more user-friendly way to bypass Boy Scout and Turley Trails.”
— Jeff Combs
Starting from the Ranch Trail #62, this trail is mostly downhill. It's a wide trail with some bike-friendly berms. It's a great trail to avoid the Boy Scout Trail #126
and the sharp ups and downs of Turley Trail.
After making the roughly mile climb to the "P," the trail meets up with the P-Mountain Trail
that descends to Highway 69. Be aware of the other trail users in the area, as a few of the corners have limited line of sight and it is a popular option for mountain bikers.
The view from the top near the "P" is spectacular—you can see from Thumb Butte to the west to The Dells in the east.
