Description

The Limpkin Trail follows Soldier Creek through the Spring Hammock Preserve. The trail starts near the point where Robin Trail leaves the Cross Seminole Trail and follows the creek to connect with the Osprey Trail at its far eastern point. The trail is mostly singletrack, with a few areas of boardwalk/bridging over wetter areas. Because it follows the creek closely, it is fairly easy to follow even though it is largely unmarked. About a half mile along the trail is a large hollow cypress tree.
