Description

This trail is most commonly traveled from the south heading north. This direction of travel makes for a shorter uphill climb, followed by a longer descent. However, because the trail moved up and over a ridge, runners can enjoy both ascending and descending no matter which way you decide to go. Along the way, there are a few technical sections where picking your way through loose or rocky trail will be necessary. The name of the trail derives from the pain felt from running uphill (as mapped).
