Need to Know
The trail is located about 20 mins driving northeast of Ushuaia on RN3. Take a taxi, rent a car, or organize a tour from town. It's possible to hitch a ride back to town.
This trail is, for many, the most beautiful easy run around Ushuaia. It leads through different vegetation zones, beginning in the young forest, then winding through beaver dams and moors and just before the lagoon there are the untouched Lenga forests. The rugged mountains of the Sierra Alvear and a hanging glacier encircle the enchanting laguna.
In addition, the trail is very simple and suitable for the whole family. The trail is about 4.8 km each way.
