Description

This trail exits the WWU campus on a flight of steps and turns north to climb. Most of the trail is narrow bench-cut. Obstacles are very minimal but the narrow tread combined with the steep side-slope give this an exposed feeling that will keep runners watching their step.

The lower portion of the trail is wreathed in thick patches of ferns, higher up there are limited views across the campus and out to the bay, at the top the trees are denser and dark. The very top charges up a punchy slant before spilling out onto the paved Huntoon Trail.
