“This is a gravel road high in the Alps that passes a pristine lake below 3,000 meter peaks.”— Lost Justpastnowhere
You'll reach a saddle between the two mountains overlooking the Ruisseau d'Ambin (river). There are several abandoned stone buildings in various states of decay at this saddle. Here the doubletrack makes a turn up the valley at roughly constant elevation. After 2 km (1.2 mi), it ends abruptly at the Ruisseau de Savine, a tributary to the Ruisseau d'Amblin.
The whole route is above the tree line and at high altitude, so bring appropriate sun protection.
