“The most accessible trail to Pinnacle Mountain Summit.”
— Missouri Hiker
Features: Birding — Fall Colors — Views
The West Summit Trail is the most accessible way to get on top of Pinnacle Mountain. It offers an elevated view of the surrounding Maumelle River, lake, forest, and even a portion of Little Rock. This is a strenuous run and only physically fit individuals should attempt to climb the mountain. It's equivalent to climbing many multiple floors of stairs. The trail is rocky and rough, and trekking poles are useful in navigating the terrain. Look for the yellow blazes to guide you on the way up.
