“An old reclaimed trail from the South trailhead to the dam spillway.”

Trails are shared by bikes. Please use caution on the trails and respect other users.
This 2-mile trail (one-way) begins at the South Trailhead and ends at Lake Lurleen Dam. There, it connects to the much longer Tashka Trail
. Lakeside Trail is an excellent option for short and introductory runs. It is more difficult than the Ridge Trail. There are longer, steeper climbs and some large roots. It is about half singletrack/ half machine benched. It follows the lake shoreline, providing continuous, beautiful scenery. Use caution. The trail is shared by hikers, bikers and bank fishermen.
