Description
This trail begins as a gentle singletrack, which can be muddy at times, just north of the warming hut at a signed entrance. The middle section shares its doubletrack alignment, and the single small hill, with
Interstate Trail. Shortly beyond the top of the hill, it branches off to the left on a wide singletrack that crosses Bill Albert's Trail and connects to
Lippo's Loop Trail. This section is smooth graded for groomed cross country skiing, but is a good introduction to running in the woods.
The warming hut is open 24/7 to provide shelter from inclement weather, including a wood burning stove for heat. Pit toilets are adjacent. No overnight camping.
