This is a multi-use trail and gets a decent amount of foot traffic. Foot traffic should travel in the opposite direction of the cyclists (counterclockwise) for safety reasons, but it is open to both directions.

The trail starts rooty and relatively flat, with only one decent climb (Death Hill). You wont find many jumps or man-made features here. The trail is only 3 miles in length.

The trail dries much faster than other trails in the area. When Charlotte gets a significant amount of rain, North Meck usually opens earlier than other trails in the area are able to.
