Description

This is a nice trail up Mt. Ogusu. The trail starts at the Maedagawa Trail. There is a lot of erosion control stairs to climb on the way up the mountain. There is a great view from the top of Mt. Ogusu. You can see all the Mirua Peninsula and Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

This trail can be slick for several days after rain.

On the weekends there can be many people running and some mountain bikers.

There are restrooms at the top of Mt. Ogusu. There are also some near the weather station almost to the top of the mountain.

Flora & Fauna

There are signs warning about venomous snakes and bees.

You can barely see Mt. Fuji today. When the weather is clearer, the view is better.

I ran up, then back down, this trail. I saw the most people on the trail I've ever seen. More people are hiking during the pandemic than usual.
