DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

Chestnut Oak Road starts off of Buck Forest Road and climbs steeply on the way to Joanna Road. It's doubletrack fire road that connects to Oak Tree about halfway up the ascent.
