DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

Briery Fork starts on Joanna Road and travels south in a "U" shape and ends back on Joanna Road at the intersection with Grassy Creek. The trail is a decent downhill on the way to the first creek crossing and a moderate climb out. It connects to Joanna Road, Twin Oaks Trail, Turkey Knob, and Grassy Creek.
