The area recently burned and is currently closed to motorized users in 2015, so it is nice and quiet out there.

The trail tends to stay on the ridgeline as best as it can and sidehills around the steeper sections. The trail is not overly exciting, but is a scenic ridge run with reasonable grades.

There are lots of connecting trails around that can be used to make this run into a loop.

This whole area is an OHV area and trails are wide and can be eroded.
