“A great descent that is a nice option to get back down off the ridge”

Description
From the Cascade/Spanish Traverse intersection, continue on the Five Peaks/Ridge Trail up a short and steep climb. Ridge Trail will be your second left, past the Bear Cub Trail.
It is a very fun descent that will take you back to the Monument Peak Trail and Cascade Trail intersection, the descent is mostly in the shade, so it'll be a nice way to cool down after climbing the exposed section!
