Description
This is an easy circumnavigation on singletrack around the high alpine (2582 m; 8471 ft) Lago Miserin. You'll have earned it though because it's a brutal climb from either Champorcher (in the east) or Cogne (in the west).
If it's still early in the season, you'll likely get your feet wet crossing the far (southern) end of the lake where a wide stream fed by melting snow enters it. The path along the western side of the lake does sit on a bit of a cross slope, so a fall could send you skidding down into the lake.
