This course begins and ends on the University of Alaska, Fairbanks campus. It brings you up and over Ester Dome...and up and over again.
Need to Know
Feed stations are roughly every 2 or 3 miles.
You only need to look at the elevation map once before you say "I'm in" or "never". Basically, the race is 8 miles of flat, 5 miles of straight up, 5 miles of up and down, and another 8 miles of rolling back down Ester Dome.
It is a very well marked course and the whole Fairbanks community comes out to support the event. Click here for a video of the 2017 event!
