“This trail is a downhill connector from the intersection with Pocahontas Trail #263 back to the road.

Be aware of hunting seasons.
This is an important part of Eagle Camp Loop run. The Eagle Camp Trail begins, at the intersection with Pocahontas Trail #263
. From there, runners will enjoy a one-mile downhill to the Eagle Camp parking area.
Along the way, the trail sports some fun, wet, gully crossings. Be aware that the trail crosses a creek just before the parking area, which has a bridge out as of 9/17, though runners can easily cross 30 feet downstream on large rocks or can choose to wade through beside the rock crossing. This one is best at low water.
