Description

Though foot traffic is allowed, this is primarily a biking area and as a downhill ride, they can move fast through here. If you choose to run this trail, use caution and be respectful of other users.

The lower bit of the trail is narrow, running through the grassy areas of the ski runs. As you climb you'll end up in the trees at the northern edge of the ski area where you'll be faced with many rock steps and roots. Higher up the trees change to aspens in spots and could be wonderful in the fall. Finally you come more out onto the ski runs again near the top. Once on top there are restrooms and a restaurant as well as spectacular views of Albuquerque from the crest.
