The trail climbs up a sagebrush draw before droping over a saddle into fir trees. The trail winds uphill to an old horse watering trough. It continues to weave in and out of sagebruch and fir trees as it rolls up and down over saddles. The trail leads up to an open grassy ridge on the top before dropping back down into the Big Creek Drainage.
