“A beautiful singletrack wooded trail winding towards the Hurst Creek outlet into Lake Travis.”
— Donovan Acker
Definitely wear trail runners or light hikers. There is lots of fun, root-strewn, and rocky scrambling on this trail.
Features: River/Creek — Views — Wildflowers — Wildlife
I would only recommend this to experienced trail runners used to root-strewn and loose-rock terrain.
This trail is distinctly more technical and requires more skill than the easier Hamilton Greenbelt I Trail
& Hamilton Greenbelt II Trail
that lead into the area.
Flora & Fauna
There's lots of deer in this area. Don't be surprised if you come on a few bucks along this trail.
