“This trail tackles several long climbs on both singletrack and doubletrack followed by a decent downhill section.”— Brian Bertsch
Next, you’ll hit a series of back-to-back, steep rocky climbs that will test your calf strength. Eventually, the trail levels off and opens up to a few nice views of the Cascade Range.
The trail soon spits out onto a fairly long fire road climb which takes you up to the Swede Shelter. The shelter is to your left and below the intersection of the Sector 16, Swede Ridge, and SST trails.
This is a favorite local’s mountain bike area so be aware of other trail users.
