Snowy, Some Mud - Snow 40% but good for a run regardless. Note the trail is now 6.5m one way. Enjoyed it thanks to the snow. History

Runner Notes

A nice option if you want a paved path with an easy grade.

Description

One of the most popular pathways in Grand Valley, the Fraser River Trail provides easy access to and from the amazing trails in Fraser and Winter Park. A multi-use, wide paved path, this trail is a great option for an easy run or a family outing.

The trail passes through dense woods along the Fraser River across from Winter Park resort, where you may spot a moose if you are lucky; to a scenic jaunt along the downtown strip of the town of Winter Park, past the bandshell, skate park, and playground; to the wide open valley toward Fraser where you can enjoy views of Byers in the distance and the ski resort behind you.
