“This is a tough to find but well worthwhile trail for runners looking for a medium-length run.”— Mikhaila Redovian
As you continue on your way, you'll notice that the trail is fairly rugged and sometimes seems to peter out. Keep an eye out for the path-of-most-use and any cairns that might lead the way. Though shade is at a premium, you'll reach one shady spot about halfway through the trail, which makes a good place to rehydrate. You'll be running in the desert, so be sure to bring plenty of water!
As you continue on your way, you'll notice that you'll have turned from heading north to heading more southeast. Enjoy the view from the northernmost point—it's beautiful and well earned!
Eventually, the trail will reconnect with The Maze Loop Trail, which can be used to make a loop back to the trailhead and your car. However, if you'd prefer to retrace your steps, the trail is equally as scenic heading back the other way.
