This is a road in a Harris County Park. See the Harris County Parks’ regulations here.

Description

This is a gravel road in Congressman Bill Archer Park. It runs from Groschke Road due north to a gravel pad. About 1/8 of a mile north of Groschke, the Bill Archer Park Connector provides a route to a point just west of the restrooms at the Bill Archer Dog Park. Additionally, the Westcott Trace begins on the other side of Groschke and connects to the Cullen Bike and Hike Trail. The trail is in very good condition.

According to US Army Corps of Engineers’ records, this trail is on land that was owned by Lawrence C. Groschke and his wife before appropriation for the reservoir. The land immediately to the east, where the dog park is today, was originally owned by Anna Hoffman et al.
