“This moderate trail goes from the main property to the camp's cave!”
— Nathan Ginn
Features: Birding — Cave — Fall Colors — Spring — Wildlife
Dogs: No Dogs
This isn't a superb running trail, but for those that have low standards it might be worth it.
This trail begins like all others at the main trailhead. It then quickly departs the Yellow Blaze Trail
and White Blaze Trail
to head to the cave on a soft, leafy tread. This moderate trail is well marked with RED blazes and does not loop. Note that those going to the cave should obtain permission from the ranger staff at Camp Stem Girl Scout Camp before embarking.
Flora & Fauna
A bounty of hardwoods comprise the forests around the Girl Scout camp, so if you're so inclined, take a guidebook and see how many you can identify.
