Although the trail is short, it is semi-technical because of switchbacks and roots.

Start at the parking area on Rinehart Rd and proceed up the fire trail. You'll see several trails off to the left, but only one to the right. Take this semi-technical trail through the woods to connect you to the other fire trail that runs along Big Pipe Creek. When you finish the trail, you can either turn back to the trail and reverse your steps or take the 100 yd jaunt along Rinehart Rd. back to the start. There is no paved shoulder on the road, however, so please be careful of vehicles.
