This steady fire road climb leads from the street parking off of Beaudry Boulevard and climbs up to the Verdugo Motorway. The mellow start parallels a large drainage basement before the wide road switchbacks up to follow the contours and curves of the ridge.

Pretty soon the road intersects with the Beaudry South Motorway, which can be used as part of the Beaudry Loop for a nice six-mile run. As it climbs, the road provides several nice spots to stop and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and valley. During the winter time, there is partial shade along the way.
