Description
From the back of the Flytrap parking lot, jump on the trail marked by orange circles and go right. You'll meet up with the Campground Trail and soon cross B road. Continue along where you pass by another piece of the Campground Trail. You soon pass Grass Pond, Lily Pond and then Cypress Pond. Enjoy the swamp life then continue on to the one bit of hills in the park. Take a turn off to Sugarloaf Dune to get the best view and then drop back to the trail. Shortly, you pass the Oak Toe Trail and then turn north. When you get to the Swamp trail take a left and pass some pretty swamp lands. When you meet up with Cape Fear River you go right and continue until you arrive at the Marina. Take another right and you soon arrive back at the parking lot.
