This trail is good if you have already visited one of the other bridges on your way to Kachina Bridge
and want to take a shorter route back to where you parked.
From the parking area at Kachina Bridge
, cross the street to pick up this trail. It is very flat and only a mile long. However, it is very exposed with only short juniper-like trees that don't offer shade. So be ready for heat and the sun.
The path is clear and easy to follow as it passes through bio-crust - stay on the trail to protect this fragile, living soil. A few drainages will appear as trails, but when you actually encounter the Owachomo Bridge to Sipapu Bridge Trail
it will be clear.
