Features: Birding — Lake — River/Creek — Wildflowers
The trail starts at a footbridge on the northeast corner of the Breckinridge Trail
, that passes over Rowlett Creek. Directly across the bridge there is access to the Breckinridge Backcountry Trail
. Once the nicely paved path turns north, it then passes by a small lake on your right and a couple of parking lots on your left. It then proceeds under Renner Road where it continues eastward to Bradshaw Drive. Overall, it is a nice way to extend the trail from Breckinridge Park for some additional mileage.
