This sustained climb is a great option for hill-climb training with a wide but fairly loose tread.
The trail starts at the base of the soccer complex road/parking lot. Start at the pavement and go left on the first dirt trail entrance. From there, you'll see the marker where this trail begins.
At any fork on the way up, stay right. Grind your way up and enjoy the view.
From the top of Zanja, take in the views as you catch your breath before starting the descent back the way you came. Overall, an easily-accessible option to get a great workout in with rewarding views.
