Runner Notes

This descent to the falls can be fast. With few obstacles and mostly gravel, you can cruise. Link-ups with the Salado Canyon Trail as well as the Grandview Trail (shares the TH) can provide a longer run. Parking is limited. Watch for inexperienced hikers.

Description

Bridal Veil Falls Trail is a section of the repurposed Rails-to-Trails that includes two other trails in the area. This trail rolls down mostly doubletrack to the waterfall. There are one or two short, moderate climbs on singletrack. The trail includes a railroad trestle over the stream as well as a couple of cattle gates.

Flora & Fauna

Piñon, juniper, and cottonwoods as you near the stream and waterfall. Deer as well as a variety of birds. Sheep have been spotted in the area as well.
