“Work up Buckeye Mountain, along the ridge, then down to Caney Creek where the trail intersects the Caney Creek Trail.”

The trail ascends Buckeye Mountain, then follows the ridge. Along the way, there are several very nice overlooks. You'll enjoy plenty of shade as there are many trees along the way. The trail is narrow singletrack but is generally easy to follow. At the end, the trail descends to Caney Creek, where it intersects the Caney Creek Trail
to make a loop.
Also, don't miss a short spur to Kay Waterfall, located just off the trail about 0.1 miles before the Caney Creek Trail
This trail is not blazed. With summer flora several places it can be difficult to find.
