I chose to take the wide, well marked shoulder of the paved road as my route back to the starting point so I could get in some wind-sprints.
Grab a map at the Ranger station and start near the Fitness Trail. The numbered trail markers make it easy to find your way along the trails. This trail could be shortened or lengthened by taking a few different routes. This trail includes oak hammocks, sandhill pine, florida scrub, and wetland ecosystems. Deer, birds, and butterflies were abundant.

Wildflowers, birds, deer, tortoises, and plenty more animals and natural Florida surround this trail.
