Description

This wide dirt trail is accessed from the Sugar Mill Nature Trail. Take the left at the first trail marker rather than the right you would need to stay on the Sugar Mill Nature Trail. The sign will indicate the Bayou Cane Hiking Trail, which is located at the end of this trail. Follow the path until the trail splits. Turn right (in order to not follow the path with a "Do not enter" sign). The trail will come to a "T" intersection. Take your next two lefts to complete the loop. Taking a right rather than a left at this "T" intersection will turn you onto the Bayou Cane Hiking Trail.

Keep your eyes open for wildlife including deer, rabbits, and wild hogs.
